The Bronx

Katonah Avenue at Woodlawn Many areas in New York look as if they were a town anywhere in the US, just like the Woodlawn neighborhood in the Bronx, which has 1.4 million people and and is still the second least-populated borough in the City. The Bronx has a bad reputation, but since churches took action against some quarters' decline some years ago, life got back to normal. The Bronx Zoo, the New York Botanical Garden and Yankee Stadium - a temple to baseball fans - are located in this hilly part of New York.
